✔ The department of Pathology at Government Medical College, Ariyalur was started in the year 2021. We have 150 undergraduate students every year.
✔ The teaching faculties of our department includes 1 Professor, 3 Associate Professors, 4 Assistant Professors and 6 Tutors. We have well equipped lab with well qualified lab technicians who are the backbone for running the central laboratory 24×7 hours.
✔ Our museum have more than 300 mounted specimens with 15 catalogues.
✔ Our department is equipped with automated tissue processor (histokinette), automated microtome and tissue embedder for precise cutting of sections.
✔ We are also doing pathology services for Government hospitals of Sendurai, Jayamkondam, Udaiyarpalayam and Tittagudi and also for nearby primary health centres.
