The Department of Pediatrics is housed in the CEMONC complex, old GH campus. The spectrum of healthy and sick children reaching the department for clinical care provides the students and opportunity to learn and serve. The daily outpatient attendance averages around 80 to 100. The department runs Pediatric OPD, well baby clinic, immunization clinic, NICU followup clinic, fever clinic, DEIC-RBSK clinic, and child guidance clinic. The department NICU has 10 beds and pediatrics ICU (PICU) has 10 beds both has been adequately equipped with ventilators, CPAP , and HFNC. The department has a regularly teaching program for UG(MBBS) & Intern’s (DRP) . The department is committed to improve child health care through excellence inpatient care , teaching and research.
